Hi all First time on your site. Found you today as I have been having nightmares that dont seem to be getting any better. Thing is I have never been one for having bad dreams, apart from the odd one during difficult life experiences but cant remember an episode like this. I'll give a brief description and hope some kind forum buddy can maybe shed some light. I have a few negative things going on in life at the moment, you know those things you cant do anything about, some of them quite dramatic so I can maybe understand some dreaming but cannot understand it continuing at this intensity. Last night I dreamed I was being thrown around by evil forces like a rag doll - it frightens me just telling you this. I have had a nightmare most nights for a couple of months at least. I have moved home recently, my parents have lost everything including their home which took them a lifetime to buy, I am unable to have a biological child and and am experiencing unemployment so I can understand the haunting theme but the violent and nasty themes in my dreams are not a normal thing for me. I hope someone can shed some light.....thank you for any comments regards Moonstone
If I were going through in my waking life what you are, I expect I'd feel "thrown around" and, though outwardly I'm sure you're doing your best to remain calm and level headed, your unconcious mind, (which means only, the mind you are normally unconcious of), is registering what certainly seems at least metaphorically violent, nasty and evil. In upsetting times, expect upsetting dreams. They are even healthy in a way, since they let us express fears and uncertainties that we repress in the waking world. Keep taking them seriously and, if possible, writing them out (and posting them here as you wish). Often, dreams first present the problem, then give hints as to how to cope. Best wishes, and may your troubles soon pass.
