There were these two women in my dream jumping out of a plane. One was pregnant and dark-haired. They were counting down in the dream the time to release their chutes. The problem though, was the pregnant woman didn't pull her chute on time and plummeted straight to the ground. I saw the scene twice. The first time I froze in my reaction and my gut dropped out just watching it.... but then somehow the scene rewound and played again and I watched the same thing happen. Except this time I saw the end result.

The end result was the woman flies out of the air and lands in a shallow pool/pond and bounces out of it laughing. No scratches, nothing. The other lady lands and stares dumbfounded at the pregnant lady, shaking her head in disbelief. The pregnant lady laughs, and I am left with the impression that somehow someway.... the very fact that she was pregnant had everything to do with why she survived that fall. Somehow her pregnancy carried a secret power that protected her.

I woke up and felt strangely strong. I had just had a very life-changing conversation with a man I'm developing a relationship with, and was able to move past a relationship issue I had been plagued with forever. After that conversation, I fell asleep and had this dream. Can anyone help me with clarifying what it was about??

    Thank you,
    momo

It is believed that pregnancy in a dream often reflects new idea or events coming to fruition; bodies of water, ponds and lakes, are said to represent your emotions and your unconscious and sometimes romantic feelings too.

So I guess, going by the above, that the dream was about letting go and allowing yourself to accept whatever emotions may occur and whatever new ideas or schemes you have going in your life at the moment will not cause you any deep hurt emotionally.

Also dreams can be very cliche-ridden sometimes, I guess there might be something big about to happen that you are excited/worried about, because of the countdown to the jump, and your fears are that there's no going back if you don't 'bail out' in time. I guess that the lady who doesn't land in the pond is the more cautious side who frowns on adventure and risk-taking, but your unconscious mind is trying to suggest to you that she is probably wrong this time - or that you should go for it regardless just for the fun of it? :)
