A nonsense post is a post that does not add anything interesting or informative to a discussion. An example would be bringing up a thread that is months or years old and saying something like "Interesting post", or just posting something that is totally unrelated to what the other people on the thread have been talking about or posting something that just doesn't make any sense.

If you post a nonsense post it will be deleted.

If you are a newly registered user and you have only posted nonsense posts, your posts will be deleted and you will be banned immediately.

Do not try to post nonsense posts in order to increase your post count.

The rule that existing members can post links to their websites - see the Pimping Websites sticky thread on this forum - refers to existing members who contribute to the site in a positive, constructive way.

This has nothing to do with post count.

Posting nonsense twenty times does not give you more privileges than someone who has made three posts, but those three posts have all been informative and interesting. In fact, posting nonsense twenty times will get you banned.

Posting nonsense just so you can have enough posts to add a link to your signature will result in your being banned.

It is fine to post about non-dream-related issues in the off-topic forum - Dream Talk and Flibber Flabber - but these posts should make sense and add something to the forum, even if that is just making other forum members laugh.

We want to make visiting the Meaning of Dreams Dreaming Forum a positive experience for people who are interested in learning about and discussing dreams.
