If you click on the link it redirects you to a page that looks exactly like the eBay sign in page, but the address is actually http://ehaythem.com/aw-cgi/signin.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dllSignIn.php when you click it. I hate this kind of thing and I know lots of people will be silly enough to fill in their user details and get ripped off; I filled it in with **** *** as my user id and **** ****** as my password :)

P.S. if you delete all the address apart from the domain you get this http://ehaythem.com/ which is some crappy coming soon thing with Arabic (?) writing.

I work with a guy who did respond to that email and they stole all the money out of his debit card account. He ended up having to erase all of his old information and creating new accounts. He was not left with the debt fortunetly, because the authorities were aware of the con/fraud. But needless to say, he felt like a damned fool for falling for it (and this is a resonably intelligent person!)

A lot of them are beginning to look very genuine, people just have to remember that ebay, paypal or a bank will never send you an email about your account, asking for verification or anything else to do with your details. :)
