I can't pull up your outtakes but, if you can, you might want to check out a 1960s vintage film titled "8 1/2" by Frederico Fellini. He described it as a film recounting of a dream he'd had. Even if you knew this, most viewers found it all but incomprehensible; but it got rave reviews and was considered very "artsy".

He did not use a schizophrenia-based plot or theme; but it might give you some clues as to how to render these realistically.

Do you know someone with schizophrenia or have you studied the condition?
