Almost every holiday (always at least Christmas, Halloween, and Easter) i have the same dream but themed to the holiday. What happens is i wake up, go downstairs, and find my family going about regular business and outside fits the time of year. Suddenly someone yells and i tell them to be quiet because the being in the garage (he resembles both a human and a giant) will awake and kill us all (my garage is separately attached from the house). The person yells again and i hear the being grumble and scream something along the lines of, "WHOEVER WOKE ME WILL PAY!" I then see he is breaking down the door. While the rest of my family is escaping to the basement i try to go back upstairs. Halfway up the stairs when i can't see the downstairs (blocked by a wall) i slow down to a crawl and am moving in slow motion. The being catches up to me and either stabs me or shoots me to wake me up.

It's interesting that this dream happens only on holidays.

Could the monster in the garage be you - the part of you that is stressed and under the pressure the rest of the year because of school or work?

Maybe because i always have a feeling of dread the last few days of a vacation because i know that i won't be able to relax anymore and i'll have to work really hard again in school.

It's too bad that you can't completely enjoy your vacation because you're worried about what will happen after it ends but I think most people feel the same way.
